Panfu is a Flash game, and web browsers can't play Flash any more. The free Panfu app has Flash built in. Install it, open it, and create your panda.

Installing

The app isn't signed by Apple or Microsoft (that costs money every year), so your computer asks once whether you trust it.

Windows
  1. Open panfu-setup-1.6.1.exe.
  2. If a blue "Windows protected your PC" box appears: click More info, then Run anyway.
  3. Panfu starts by itself and gets a shortcut on your desktop.
macOS
  1. Open panfu-1.6.1.dmg and drag Panfu Desktop into Applications.
  2. The first time: right-click (or Control-click) Panfu Desktop in Applications and choose Open, then Open again.
  3. If macOS says the app "is damaged": open Terminal and run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Panfu Desktop.app", then open it again.
  4. On Macs with Apple chips, macOS may ask to install Rosetta the first time. Click Install.
Linux
  1. Make the file runnable: chmod +x panfu-1.6.1.AppImage
  2. Start it: ./panfu-1.6.1.AppImage
  3. If it doesn't start, your system may need libfuse2 (on Ubuntu/Debian: sudo apt install libfuse2).

Before you play

This is a small fan server that keeps the old game alive. It isn't run by the makers of Panfu and costs nothing. Please read the rules and privacy notes. Questions or problems? Contact the moderators.
